GetResponse Review for Online Stores (2026): Pricing, Shopify Integration and Which Plan You Need
GetResponse for e-commerce: Starter vs Marketer vs Creator pricing at 1,000 contacts, what the Shopify integration syncs, the free plan, and when Omnisend or Klaviyo is a better fit.

Verdict: GetResponse is a broad marketing platform – email, automation, landing pages, webinars and courses – that also connects to Shopify. For a store, the plan that matters is Marketer ($59/month, or $48.38/month billed annually, at 1,000 contacts), because that’s where abandoned cart recovery, product recommendations and unlimited automation workflows start. The cheaper Starter plan ($19/month) is fine for newsletters but has no e-commerce automations. Choose GetResponse if you also want webinars, funnels or courses; if you only need store email and SMS, an e-commerce-first tool is usually simpler.
Prices from GetResponse’s pricing page, checked October 21, 2026, shown for a 1,000-contact list; they rise with list size. This review is based on published information and documentation, not a hands-on test.

The Shopify integration
According to GetResponse’s help center, the Shopify integration can:
- Import customers as contacts – all customers or only those with marketing consent – and sync Shopify tags one way.
- Send full e-commerce data (new purchases), which is what powers purchase tracking and abandoned cart flows. Historical orders can be imported, but Shopify only provides the last 60 days.
- Import products (simple and variant) with their collections for use in emails.
Who GetResponse is for
Good fit: stores that also sell through webinars, courses or lead-generation funnels; businesses that want landing pages and email in one tool.
Consider an alternative if:
- You want e-commerce automations on a lower budget – Omnisend’s Standard plan includes abandoned cart flows from $16/month at 500 contacts.
- You need SMS without an enterprise contract – see Omnisend vs Klaviyo.
- You only need a simple newsletter – MailerLite and the free plans we compared cost less.
